Have Some More is owned and crafted with love and care by Ashlan Darsey, a stained glass artist living in Atlanta GA. Her work is inspired by imagery that comforts her. When the pandemic hit she was laid off from her bartending job at Hotel Clermont and found herself painting a lot of old antique windows for all of her friends and family members she missed seeing. Window painting was fun, but Ashlan wanted more of a challenge and something that took a little longer to complete. After weeks of research and list making, Have Some More was born on a rickety back porch in Panthersville Georgia. She continued to work at the bar after it re-opened in July 2020 and in August of 2022 she started her new adventure doing Have Some More full time and now in her home studio in Little Five Points Georgia.
When she’s not making glass she’s cuddling her cats Bum and Critter, going for walks in Oakland cemetery with her partner and his dogs Bohdi & Pepper, visiting family, setting up for a local market or taking road trips to Asheville NC to be surrounded by beautiful nature… and glass shopping!
